Who We Are

How We Began

The concept of “Ministry in the Middle” began in 2004 while founder Samantha Clark-Childs was balancing major transitions within ministry, education, and family life. It stemmed from Ms. Clark-Childs noticing patterns of who and what women turn to for help when they are in crisis or transitional situations and how often they are rejected and treated as inferior because of their circumstances. As she poured into the lives of women as a Bible teacher, mentor, and discipler, she continued to develop a ministry that focuses on her passion for encouraging and empowering women through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

We believe that ministry makes the difference in empowering women to reach their fullest potential. Though we do not impose our Christian beliefs on those seeking our assistance, we consistently apply Christian principles and operate as a Christian organization, our basis being belief in the risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
