The concept of “Ministry in the Middle” began in 2004 while founder Dr. Samantha Clark-Childs was balancing major transitions within ministry, education, and family life. It stemmed from Dr. Clark-Childs noticing patterns of who and what women turn to for help when they are in crisis or transitional situations and how often they are rejected and treated as inferior because of their circumstances. As she poured into the lives of women as a Bible teacher, mentor, and discipler, she continued to develop a ministry that focuses on her passion for encouraging and empowering women through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Join us for our virtual bible study every
2nd and 4th Saturday from 8-9:30 am CST
Currently, Ministry in the Middle hosts “Coffee, Tea, and Jesus,” a virtual Bible study fellowship and prayer circle. We also offer the following:
We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; on the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the one holy church both visible and invisible, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
We also believe that ministry makes the difference in empowering women to reach their fullest potential. Though we do not impose our Christian beliefs on those seeking our assistance, we consistently apply Christian principles and operate as a Christian organization, our basis being belief in the risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dr. Samantha Clark-Childs, Board Chair

It is not odd for her to have teaching moments over a game of pool (aka “pool table discipleship”) or a freshly baked pound cake. Building and fostering organic relationships is the heart of her methodology which is rooted in sharing and showing the love of Christ.
